This is not an ordinary book that tells us adventure stories, that takes us into mysteries to solve or that has its beginning, knot and outcome. Nothing to see.
This book is one of those books that are played, its pages hide boards, chips and dice to spend an entertaining afternoon while developing their logical, mathematical and strategist skills.
Today our review is a game book for the whole family, The Big Book of VV. Kids detective games.
Let’s play a modern version of cops and thieves. In this game book we can choose to be the thief or the shrewd detective. Both options have their grace.
To begin with, we must separate all the tabs from the back of the book. I advise you to help yourself with something that has a tip because there are many and are well attached to the dies.
Once removed you can assemble the curious since it is also included.
When you have finished playing you can leave the chips again embedded in place, but the truth is that it takes a long time to do so, we have them in a zip bag that we leave in a box with the rest of the book chips that we have with boards and games.
Then you only have to choose between its 8 different games and decide the role you are going to adopt: detective or thief.
If you go to the end of the book next to the tiles, you will see a summary of the tiles that you will use in each of the games, since there are several different ones and they are not used in all the same.

The success of the book game, a format very little exploited.
It is not the first book we have with this format, in fact there are already several books with games inside. And I mean board games with chips and dice.
It is a format very little exploited for my taste and that can be used much more. It’s great to be able to transport multiple games in a single book, its pages are hard and sturdy and take up much less than traditional game boxes.
The only downside I see is the issue of saving the chips without losing them, but as I said above, we solve it with zip bags that we have in a box for all the cards of this type of books. If at any time we take one of the travel books or to a friend’s house, we take its corresponding zip bag and put it between its pages.
