Our last discovery before Christmas was Bobo Bobo, a game from the creators of the famous Guatafac or Little Secret, the success of this summer.
This time we will test our mental agility, ingenuity and ability to invent coherent answers blatantly to deceive the adversary.

In the Bobo Bobo box we will find 440 cards with questions and their correct answer, 18 chips in two different colors so that the two teams can bet and a notepad to write down the answers. If you run out of the pad there is no problem, any blank sheet helps us to continue playing.

When we talk about games published by La Caja it has been usual in these games that their mechanics are simpler than the mechanism of a pacifier, which makes them perfect games for any time and with any group of family or friends because you do not have to study to learn to play.
That is something that we love, since we usually have different children from school around here playing and they get bored of having to spend half an hour learning to play, they want everything for now and the easier you make it, the more they have fun.
To begin with, you have to make two equal teams and although it says that the maximum number of players is 10, you can be more without problems.
Once the two teams are made, decide the color of each one and distribute the 16 betting chips for each one.
Then you decide which one starts and the one that touches him, choose a letter of questions. If they are children, they can exchange their card for another, if that is difficult for them, there are so many cards in the box that they will not run out of them.
Without the other team seeing the question or the answer, they must write down on the pad three different answers to that question: 2 invented by them and the correct one that comes in the letter.
Once this is done, they ask the question aloud to the opposing team and leave the paper with the answers in the center of the table.
The other team must now bet on their answer by placing the chips they want in the answer they believe is correct, or in more than one if they have doubts. Care! If you spend all the chips and do not get it right, you will have lost the game.
When they have placed their bet, the correct answer is revealed and the chips bet on it are returned. Tokens that are in wrong answers are lost.
Now it’s the turn of the other team to choose a card and write down the answers for the others to place their bet.
The game continues until one of the two teams runs out of chips and loses.

In Bobo Bobo we see two main actions: on the one hand, that of lying very well in our false answers so that the other team doubts about which one is correct. It can be serious or crazy answers, that already depends on the real answer and how much we want to camouflage them.
On the other hand, we need enough ingenuity and knowledge to guess the answer when we have to bet… And if we don’t know it, trust in luck and pray.
We like this type of games because they do not take up much space, they are easily transported, the instructions are learned in a moment and the little ones bring benefits in their development.
They acquire knowledge about general culture with each question and will have answers to doubts that had not been raised.
They develop logical thinking by choosing the correct answer among the 3 proposals: What can it be?, Is one more coherent than another?.
They use their ingenuity to invent answers that make sense and confuse the adversary. Sometimes they will have to be totally logical answers and others may be as absurd as the real one, since there are questions of all kinds with sometimes ridiculous answers.
Encourage team play and socialization by doing two groups. They will have to discuss their answers and agree on the one they think is correct.
They will laugh a lot with the answers, especially when they believe true, the most absurd.
